| TCA Founders: Mr. and Dr. Charles and Daisy Thomas |
Mr. Charles Thomas and his wife Dr. Daisy Thomas, M.D. founded Thomas Christian Academy in Humphreys County in 1986 as a home school for their two daughters. Soon, the couple began tutoring other children in the area. TCA began to expand, starting with an empty room, a folding table and five children eager to learn.
TCA relocated to Yazoo City in 1994 and has made an impression on hundreds of students, including those in our satellite schools - Community Learning Center (CLC) in Gloster, MS, Augusta Christian Academy (ACA) in Kansas City, MO and Reed Christian Academy (RCA) in Durham, NC.
Our graduates have been accepted to many universities and colleges, including Liberty University in Virginia, Brown University in Rhode Island, Tougaloo College in Mississippi and Reading University in Reading, England.
